PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
After the printing process is complete, it becomes essential to effectively dry the fabric to ensure color fixation, long-lasting durability, and dimensional stability. This crucial operation is performed by a dedicated dryer system. As the freshly printed fabric passes through the dryer, it is subjected to a regulated stream of hot air that evaporates residual moisture while preserving the fabric’s quality.
The required heat is generated via a heat exchanger, which can be powered by steam, thermal oil, or gas—depending on the customer’s energy preferences and infrastructure. This design allows for energy-efficient and flexible operations across a wide range of production setups.
Each dryer is built using a modular chamber-based construction, where every chamber is thermally insulated using specialized insulation panels. This configuration ensures stable internal temperatures while minimizing heat loss. Additionally, an automated exhaust system integrated within each chamber continuously removes evaporated moisture, creating a controlled and consistent drying environment.
There are multiple types of dryers available, categorized according to the method used to support the fabric during the drying cycle. Whether the material floats freely, travels over horizontal conveyors, or moves vertically through chambers, the dryer type plays a vital role in maintaining the surface finish, structural integrity, and quality of the printed fabric.
1. Float Dryer

The printed fabric floats between cushions of hot air without any physical support such as a conveyor. This design minimizes the risk of stains, making it ideal for lightweight fabrics like sarees and dress materials.
2. Float cum Horizontal Conveyor Dryer

This dual-function dryer can operate as either a Float Dryer or a Horizontal Conveyor Dryer. In float mode, fabric passes through the lower air-cushioned section. In conveyor mode, the fabric travels over a belt. Perfect for woven and knitted fabrics.
3. Horizontal Conveyor Dryer

The fabric is fully supported on a conveyor belt and moves horizontally through the dryer. Blowers installed in each chamber ensure effective and uniform drying. Best suited for structured drying environments.
4. Vertical Conveyor Dryer

This dryer mirrors the horizontal model in function, but the air flow is vertically directed upwards through ducts and nozzles. It features increased vertical space and is especially suited for tension-less drying of knitted fabrics.
