PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Rope Washing Range is a specialized fabric washing system designed for both woven and knitted textiles, including cotton, viscose, cotton/viscose blends, cotton/polyester, and linen. It is particularly suited for viscose fabrics, which exhibit low wet strength, and for knitted fabrics, which are prone to elongation and curling when processed in open form. Washing in rope form helps preserve the fabric’s structure and integrity throughout the process.
This washing line typically includes two “open-width” compartments, a triple-drum chamber, or a cage washer—configured to efficiently handle .the wetting and swelling of fabrics treated with dyes and gum pastes . After initial treatment, the fabric is collected in a “J-scray”(a fabric storage system shaped like a ‘J’) and directed into (SS)stainless steel winch-driven washing compartments.
The machine features an “oval-shaped S.S.” winch that actively agitates the fabric inside the stainless steel washing tanks, ensuring thorough removal of gum residues and excess dye. For enhanced cleaning performance, the system includes steam-based water heating that accelerates the breakdown and elimination of printing materials.
The Rope Washing Range supports long dwell times, precise temperature control, and adjustable liquor flow, allowing for customization based on fabric type and processing needs—all of which contribute to high washing efficiency.
Each tank has a fabric capacity ranging from approximately 110 kg to 200 kg , depending on fabric width. After the washing cycle, the system incorporates a rope-opening mechanism to return the fabric to its open-width form, ready for subsequent finishing processes.
